Last week I had a Expo on gas leaks and I had to speak about six different topics where they are found, how it effects daily life, how it effects the movement or stureture of the earth, fact and what they are. So the hard thing for me was remembering all of the information but my feedback for next years Expo will be to bland the colours in better and if you would like to see my poster look blow .
Do you have a correct breakfast, lunch and dinner ? Well you should have the same amount of grain and vegetables on your plate. Also them same amount of fruit, dairy and protein. I will explain all of the foods that are in each of catalogue. So in Grain it is foods like rice, bread, rolled oats and wraps but they use all the wheat in all of these foods. Now Vegetables they have foods like cabbage, carrots, corn, peas, broccoli, coliflower and eggplant. Now Fruit foods like apples, bananas, watermelon, oranges, lemons, limes, pears, peaches, plums and appacots. So Dairy foods like milk, yogurt, soy milk foods that come out of cows. Now protein foods like prawns, fish, eggs, beans, chicken breast, tuna and tofu. Now if you would like to see my plate look blow.
Eat my Dust
Tectonic plates but they are not plates you eat on they are plates between the crust and upper mantle. The tectonic plates are about 62 miles think. The tectonic plates can cause earthquakes and sunarmies. The world was one huge island it was called Pangaea and then Pangaea split in to different continents and then that is how they all got there names.
Today we were doing a cardboard car regtta and we had to make a car that was about my inquiry which was the structure and movement of the earth. I thought it would be hard but the main thing was teamwork. I will tell you what that means in this case. We had to communicate, share ideas and be respectful . I was great at communicating. Then it came to the day I was scared but in the end we came second.
Today in art I was making a birds eye view picture of me on a boogie board. First I had to put crayons to make a wave then I had to put water colour over top. I had to make a picture of me on the board on good paper and colour it in. Then I put it on the coloured piece of paper I made and thenI was done.
Today I made a model to help me answer my question. The question was Jacob made a square pyramid and then he decided to make a cube and how many more balls and stick do I need. So I tried and the answer for balls were 3 and for sticks it was 4 .
Today I will be able to use vocabulary to help me understand about the movement of the Earth. How will I do that though? I watched two videos and wrote the information I found out and then I made a video. There are two words that are called revolution and rotation. So revolution means that the Earth is going around the Sun and it takes 365 days that is the same as 1 year to go all around . Rotation means that the Earth goes anti clockwise and it takes 24 hours which is the same as 1 day. If you would like to see my video and poster look below.
Today I saw a famous football player. He came and taught me how to hold the football properly it made me so much better.
